watch it: “STAR TREK by 70’s Kids”

Say the creators, this is a “Super-8 Fan Film made by kids on Cape Cod in 1978 [with] voices added 25 years later by some of the original cast.”

…that was an interesting mish-mash of “Shore Leave,” “Obsession,” “A Private Little War,” and “Trouble with Tribbles.” Wait, where were the tribbles…?

That was great! And the production values were as good as the original. :)

*grumble, grumble*

Actually, um… *ahem*, they were a little better.
They didn’t use not-so-well-disguised stunt-doubles in this one.

Sorry to be a killjoy (there’s one in every post), but while this is cute, if it’s real I’ll eat my hat.

Actually, I’ve seen worse fight scenes in the original series. If they’d added another minute or two of talking about the main alien’s motivation, it would have been a lot like a regular episode.
