A zombie drama premiering on Halloween? Cool: I’m there. I hope AMC’s The Walking Dead may assuage some of my grief over the cancellation of Caprica. It doesn’t look very terribly different from most of the zombie movies we’ve seen, but I’m hoping that as a weekly drama, that means it will have to focus much more on character than films usually have time for. Perhaps this will be the first zombie apocalypse soap opera:


For my friends on the other side of the pond, The Walking Dead debuts in the U.K. on Friday, November 5, at 10pm on FXUK.
