‘Doctor Who’ thing of the day: Cybermen invade London

Via the Daily Mail:

London workers got a bit of a shock on their way into the office this morning [ie, last Wednesday].

A group of intimidating Cybermen from cult show Doctor Who invaded the city, marching through St Paul’s and the London Undergound.

What did it look like?

(More images at the Daily Mail.)

What was it all in aid of?

The stunt was to celebrate the launch of the Doctor Who Experience – a fully interactive themed adventure and exhibition opening in the capital in February.

The Doctor Who Experience is not the same thing as Doctor Who Live, which I’ve mentioned a couple of times, but is instead apparently some sort of interactive theater thingie. It opens in February, after my move to London, so I’ll check it out and let you know if it’s any good.
