watch it: The Girls on Film perform a scene from Star Trek

What happens when you replace the guys in famous movie scenes with gals? Does it highlight the preposterousness of the original scenes? Does it show that movies guys like are just as melodramatic as “chick flicks” supposedly are? Does it make you realize how infrequently women get to play really juicy dramatic scenes? Or is it just fun?

The Girls on Film — consisting of the “Canadian super-team” of director Jeff Hammond and actor Ashleigh Harrington — is, according to their site:

an interactive web-series that remakes guy-on-guy movie scenes for your viewing pleasure.
