Doctor Who was shooting in Central Park yesterday, according to On Location Vacations. A photo taken by a fan:
It’s sorta hard to tell, but that’s Matt Smith on the bottom left (in the black coat) with Karen Gillan next to him, and (presumably) Arthur Darvill next to her.
This was near Wollman Rink, at the southern end of the park. OLV has another image as well as an open thread where fans are posting shoot sightings.
Rumor there has it that an evening shoot in Brooklyn Heights followed by an overnight shoot in Grand Central Terminal is happening tonight. The other rumor for tonight is Tudor City. Alls I know is that if I had limited time to shoot in NYC, Grand Central would be a top priority. No place on Earth looks like it, and no place can authentically sub for it.
