Last night, a bunch of us cool London kids got to see Avengers Assemble — aka in the U.S. and Canada still merely Marvel’s The Avengers. (Aside: It’s a lot of fun!) But we were not so cool last night, for the Vue cinema in Leicester Square where about 750 of us were crammed was hot and stuffy: no AC. Before the movie started — doors opened an hour before the film began, so we all had time to kill — one of my fellow moviegoers tweeted to complain about the heat. I replied:
If I could have a superpower, it would be telekinetic regulation of the ambient temp.
That would be a really useful superpower, I think.
