Doctor Who thing: TARDIS pinata for a kiddie party (or a grownup one)

Yesterday we found some Doctor Who-themed cupcakes suitable for a geeky party. Now we need a pinata!

At Instructables, Mostlymade offers directions for making this reusable, opens-with-a-pullstring TARDIS pinata:

If you prefer not to make your own, you can custom-order a bashable one from Outofthisworldpinata on etsy:

Guaranteed to break the ice at geeky parties.

Oh, I am definitely building this, but not as a pullstring. A bunch of kids beating up the TARDIS to get at the delicious candy inside? That’s a better explanation for why it exploded :D
