London photo of the day: platform closed

Even moving at low speed through Embankment tube station, the train is still moving too fast to get a clear shot at that intriguing “Platform Closed” label where the station name would be.

I found it with an image search, but the page that supposedly contains it (at positiveletters.blogspot.com) doesn’t seem to.

That’s great. But what I thought was really cool is how, in the blue banner crossing the red circle, where it usually says “Embankment,” it temporarily says “Platform Closed.” If you know what you’re looking for, you can kind of see it in my photo.

I didn’t think to search for someone else’s photos, but now that I have searched… I still can’t find one.
