Shipping containers get a new life as support for stairs and — presumably — storage space, perhaps for the food market stalls that pops up here regularly at Southbank.

I’m always surprised that containers aren’t used more – here in the UK they’re close to free compared with other building materials, they’re a standard size, and so on.
