One of the first things we noticed on our first trip to London, back in 1993, was how trained and responsive the dogs were. Many didn’t need leashes, they fell in beside their owners. Discipline makes for a happy dog (plus, then they get to restaurants!)

Most of the parks in London have a rule where, if your dog is well behaved and well trained, it’s okay to have it off a leash.
