My sister can’t figure out why I preferred riding the bus in London over taking the Tube–it was because I liked seeing the city! And, since traffic was never all that bad (must be due to the congestion fees), it never took too long to get places. Of course, we were pretty centrally located, staying right next to the British Museum; next time I go, I’m thinking about staying near the V&A Museum and checking out that neighborhood, since we never made it over there last time.

Buses are a great way to get around, *especially* if you’re only tooling around Central London. It’s not worth getting on the tube to go only a few stops.
