Hackney? This pub seems as though it might be the same place.

Looks like it. It was on the bus between my house and the ExCeL, which parts of Hackney are.

God, I’m 12 years old. I immediately started tee-heeing when I saw this!

I’m going to Ireland in a few weeks (yayayyay!!!), and I am soooo looking forward to experiencing some pubs in the nearly 3 weeks we’ll be there. I don’t go to bars over here in the States (not my usual scene), and I don’t drink when I’m out just because I’m always driving, but for the first two weeks in Ireland, I’ll either be in Dublin (no car) or just a passenger in the car while my sibs drive the big honking VW mini-bus (I don’t drive manual transmission, so they’re taking care of that with the behemoth–more power to them), so I can indulge in Guinness, Smithwicks, Jameson, and Bushmills to my hearts content. Actually, as I’ve gotten older, my “heart’s content” is usually just one or two glasses per night…

Just asking, because the last place he went to they refused him service.
