When I was living in east London the local cycling club would do a “Christmas Lights Ride”, trundling about and seeing the most garish displays. I remember the year blue LEDs got cheap…

Wow, they’re actually inflated. Most of the ones I see around most houses lie limply on the ground like the empty spacesuits in THE QUATERMASS XPERIMENT.
