New York doesn’t even need Christmas to feel festive (though it does add to the ambiance).

Is this an old or new photo?
Just taken on the day before Christmas Eve.
Was it nuts? My wife and I refuse to go to NYC in December because of the crowds. Does London go crazy at Christmas time, too? Hope it was a happy, happy….
The crowds are terrifying around Rockefeller Center. But this photo was taken on Park Avenue, and it was just the normal level of crowds (which is to say, not bad at all).
I have never seen NYC this insane at Christmas. Even Oxford Street in London — which is often scarily crowded — has never been this bad. I don’t know what’s going on.
