I came out of a press screening on a recent weekend morning to discover a terrible lizard among the tourists.

It was a promo for the family stage show Dinosaur Zoo…

…and it was surprisingly genuinely scary. And also funny.

I like that they seem to be making these dinosaur costumes with feathers now. James Corden had a “T-rex” come out on his show to annoy Chris Pratt, and the costume was covered with little feather tufts. At least the costume-makers seem to be acknowledging the latest science even if the movie doesn’t.
