This past weekend in London was Open Garden Squares Weekend, during which many gardens and squares that are normally closed to the public open up and allow a good snoop around. So of course I had to check out some of these mysterious places.
Fitzroy Square, in Fitzrovia in Central London, is one of the ones I dropped in on. I’ve walked through the public parts of the square many times before — it’s full of beautiful Georgian architecture — but of course never the park at the center. This is what it looks like looking out from within:
