“Luke Howard, Namer of Clouds.” Could that be the most idyllic job ever? I imagine a dreamy Byron-esque figure lounging in a field, gazing at an azure sky, pointing up, saying, “Lisa… Zachary… That one looks like a Claudia…” And writing all the names down in an impossible beat-up leather-bound notebook.
(Of course, Howard actually came up with terms like cirrus and cumulus.)
In Tottenham, North London.

Sounds like he’d fit right in in the Iliad, alongside Hector, Breaker of Horses.
I particularly liked adding that role to Open Plaques :) http://openplaques.org/roles/namer_of_clouds
