I am amused by the notion of an establishment so modest that it wouldn’t dare to claim to be the No. 1 or even the No. 2 such endeavor. Perhaps this isn’t even what the signage means. But I remain amused anyway. (Between Leicester Square and, of course, Piccadilly Circus.)

WKRP, with your generous help and support, has now climbed to 10th place in the Cincinnati market! If I sound emotional about this, it’s because I can still hear my father saying: “Son, no matter what you decide to do in this life, always try to come in 10th.” I think we’ve done it here, Dad!

It’s still funny. It’s almost like that signage was written by someone for whom English was a second language and didn’t quite understand how it would read.
