Whether Santa is toasting these strangely misshapen plastic evergreens or they are bowing down in supplication before him, something unusual and rather upsetting is happening here. I fear Day of the Triffids has gone festive. (In Leicester Square.)

Speaking as a Finn, the whole idea of Santa toasting anything with a Coke feels kind of strange to me (Santa is from Lappland, and NOT from Greenland or any such place, no matter what anyone says!!). But then again, I do believe this whole jolly “ho ho ho” figure clad in red is originally Coke’s invention…
