Seville photos: this alien tree, though…

I’m certain someone can reassure me that this tree is of entirely terrestrial origin. But it was freakishly large and appeared to be dripping seed pods, or perhaps digesting its dinner in external intestines.

A small child playing nearby in the park disappeared, and was never heard from again. No, I just made that up… but I wouldn’t have been surprised to hear such a thing.

    Looks like a trunk of an old fig tree…

    Maybe it’s a relative of Old Man Willow, from whom Tom Bombadil rescued Merry and Pippin when they were captured while a-nappin’ on the banks of the Withywindle. I would keep my distance.
