Do you know someone who should be on our show? Big prizes for the best nominator!

please tell me this isn’t some reality show where people actually get voted in or out by the audience…

No, it’s following the lives of people trying to stay in the UK, but without audience participation. So more “Ice Road Truckers” than “Big Brother”.
But give it time…

Heh. Why not?

We’ve already had one reality show on this side of the Atlantic — the 2017 short-lived series Hunted — which was eerily close to being a real-life version of The Running Man scenario. After that, a scenario like the one you describe sounds all too believable.

Okay, I’m obviously being a little bit sarcastic. But the last ten years have made it a bit hard to be optimistic about human nature.

I’m just glad your scenario is a fantasy — for now.

You know what? Bring it! As long as folks get to vote on EVERYONE, so all the bigots are at risk of getting kicked out as well. Maybe all the pro-Brexit politicians will be asked to leave.
