Oxford Street pedestrianized for holiday shopping
Oxford Street, surely one of London’s busiest roads, but also definitely one of London busiest shopping areas, is closed to vehicular traffic this weekend and opened to pedestrians in an attempt to encourage holiday shopping. Crowds descended on Saturday… but whether they were spending is another matter.
