…here’s a little heads-up for you: Very soon, for reasons I will reveal then, the minimum subscription level is gonna go up to $5 per month/$60 per year.
If you’ve been thinking about subscribing at the level of $1, $2, $3, or $4 per month, or $12, $25, or $50 per year, you might want to do it now, before the option to do so goes away. If you subscribe now at one of these levels, it won’t go up as long as you maintain that subscription, even as those levels disappear for new subscribers. (And of course, everyone who is already subscribed at those levels will see their subscriptions continue as normal.)
There’s a ton of new visitors stopping by lately — my traffic has just about doubled since Christmas — and I’d be delighted if this pushes some of those new folks into a subscription. But I also want to be sure that my longtime readers get a chance to subscribe, if they choose, at the lower rate. I know a lot of you have been hanging around here for a very long time, and I want to acknowledge your loyalty as best I can.
