Blimp over Nelson’s Column. (I couldn’t tell when I took the photo, of course, but I saw on the news that night that there was a television camera on the dirigible shooting pictures of the sparse crowds in Trafalgar Square. The advice for everyone to avoid Central London to accommodate Olympics crowds has been heeded too well.)
