Reader Rach knitted a TARDIS Kindle case:

Rach says:
My best friend [is] getting the TARDIS case for her Kindle Fire, because what better present for a long-time, old-school Who fan?
That, my friends, is true best-friendship.
Also, Rach wants me to note:
And to give full credit where it’s due, the designer is Stephanie Walls; the pattern can be found here: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/tardis-kindle-case-dr-who.
Happy knitting.
(If you stumble across a cool Doctor Who thing, feel free to email me with a link.)

This is incredibly cute and sweet!
Thank you. :)

When I clicked through your link, I found I had to join Ravelry to see the promised project notes. I know it’s free, but it’s a time drain if it happens too often, and frankly I may not want to share personal info (my email address is personal info) with random sites just to read some notes. This sort of thing is happening more & more often: click a link, hit a wall. At least give a “you’ll have to join” warning when you post a “walled” link. (Pls note, the Ravelry link posted by MAJ was a guested link, you don’t have to join the site to read it.)
The internet seems to be turning into a place where all the info and chat is hidden behind gates that you have to politely knock on and ask admittance rather than just click-and-read. That’s not surfing the net, that’s constantly being knocked off your board. Just my two cents.
You’re right – thanks for the suggestion!
Kindles are much bigger on the inside than on the outside, so this is fitting.
