looks like Penn Station or Chatelet Les Halles in Paris… easier sometimes to walk to the next station above ground.
I would have travelled differently that day if I’d realized changing trains there would be such a hassle.
I’m actually a big fan of Euston Station myself. I’m on the Victoria line, and I can get pretty much everywhere I need to on a regular basis through a transfer there.
Some changes are much longer than others – Green Park for example is usually worth avoiding as a change, because it’s effectively two separate stations with a common exit point.
One used to be able to get a book with the change lengths in it (as well as which carriage to travel in to be near the exit), but I don’t know if it’s still published.
I think there’s an ap now that does the same thing, and tells you which end of the platform to be at to be at the right exit etc.
