London photo of the day: “You lost the cakes *and* your shoes?!”

I really would love to know the story behind this little tableau, on a curbside in Fitzrovia. Two barely nibbled cakes and a pair of mens’ shoes? Gotta be a juicy tale…

Perhaps you’ll write a little tidbit of a story, maybe a comedy…a mystery…or even a melodrama! You’ve piqued my curiosity, especially with your comment “I really would love to know the story behind this little tableau, on a curbside in Fitzrovia. Two barely nibbled cakes and a pair of mens’ shoes? Gotta be a juicy tale.. .” Fitzrovia yet ! Wasn’t there a MARX BROS. movie where Groucho sang all about Fitzrovia? I would thoroughly enjoy,as I think your other longtime readers’ would, your version of the tale. I know it is a lot to ask ,knowing you are webmaster, sole critic and hostess of your blog, maybe you could treat it as one of your shorter reviews. OR………….just maybe it is the opening scene of your newest screenplay? Would most definitely love to see that made!!!

Someone left the cake out in the rain?

I want to watch the film for which this is the poster.
