home from England…

I’m back at home, and back into the swing of things… though I barely left it, actually. This year’s Stratford-upon-Avon trip was more of a change of scenery than a vacation: I did almost as much work as I would have done at home, and saw almost as many plays — five — in ten days as I would have seen movies.

But a lovely change of scenery it was, and only solidified how much I love England, and how much I would love to live there for a while. I’m really itching for a major change in my life, and I think it could be a stay in London for a few months (if not longer). Or maybe something else exciting and dramatic will happen that will shake me up in a good way. The first step to making something happen, I always believe, is being open to the possibility.

I’ll wrap up my coverage of the trip this week: the final adventures of Nigel the Charity Pig and my thoughts on the plays I saw.
