no British box office numbers this week

Looks like the folks at the UK Film Council are getting a nice long holiday: no new box office numbers were released this week. They’re usually out by late Wednesday, but if they’re not available by now, it doesn’t look like we’re gonna get them at all. It’s well past the point, U.K. time, at which everyone should have knocked off for the day — for the year! — and should be down the pub having New Year’s drink.
