It’s from SiteMeter, and the colors only have to do with timing: the red dot is the most recent visit when I took the snapshot, green are the previous 10 before that, and white the previous 100 before that.

*waves* Hi from Nova Scotia, Canada. ^.^
Wow, is one of those green dots from way up in Churchill, Manitoba? Hello Churchill!
Hello from the UK. The sun is shining and it’s glorious! I’m on the train somewhere between Southampton (where I live and work) and London (where I’ve got a meeting). Not sure if the location-meter will be able to detect that from my iPad :-)

Llanddewi Brefi, Wales (originally from Birmingham, Eng). New to the site, led here after googling around to see what the word on the web was re the Who finale. Think I’ll be sticking around too, as this place seems right up my street.
And I just know you’re too young to get a Doors reference.
And the award for “most shameless buttering up of the site host” goes to… *crinkling of envelope* …Tonio Kruger. ;-)

The map isn’t live and continually updating. It’s just a snapshot of the moment when I grabbed the image. Sorry. :-(
I keep wanting to see a dot in Antarctica. I know they get the Internet down there. But their IP would probably show up as somewhere in South America or the South Pacific.
If anyone is reading this from the South Pole (or has in the past), lemme know. That would be really cool. Subzero, in fact. :->

Currently Westminster, London, UK ’cause I’m at work (naughty me on t’internet). More usually visiting from Caterham, Surrey, UK.
Deliciously sunny and warm and – gasp! – it’s actually supposed to continue over the weekend and into next week! It must be the sunniest Wimbledon fortnight ever (I’ve jinxed it for the finals now, though, haven’t I. . . ).

I’m in Thailand and I haven’t shown up on the map, presumably because I wasn’t among the most recent 111 visitors when you took the snapshot.
