Friday fun! Here’s a screen capture from a DVD… and just to make things harder for 2010, this one is from a TV show which may or may not be in my collection (it’s sooo much easier to do screengrabs now that Netflix is streaming to my computer). Guess the TV show — you don’t need to guess the episode, just the show — and earn the respect of me and your fellow FlickFilosopher.com readers. One guess per comment — no fair hogging all the guesses.

Hmmm not much to go on except that he looks like the kind of man to die before the opening credits.
Columbo?
Ha! Not even close, in any respect.
And here I was afraid this one would be too easy…
Too easy? You can hardly see anything distinctive about the guy ;) *wild guess* Eli Stone?
Six Feet Under? (Another possibility comes to mind but I’m pretty certain that MaryAnn hates that show.)
Nip/Tuck?
Josh C. wins: It’s *Nip/Tuck.* I guess this was too easy…
What on earth makes you think I wouldn’t post a screengrab from a show I hate?
Well, I was thinking that there are so many TV shows out there that you either like or are indifferent to that it seemed unlikely–to me, at least–that you would use a screengrab from a show you outright hate. Besides, the show I was thinking of was Dead Like Me and I wasn’t eager to see that show represented in this category.
But I’m constantly trying to fool you. Sounds like a good way to that would be to pick a show I’ve been vocal about hating.
It was easy exclude movies we thought MaryAnn would hate when it was from her own collection. Now that she is grabbing anything available on Netflix, it’s a whole new ballgame.
