‘Doctor Who’ thing of the day: all the Doctor’s journeys in a gorgeous graphic

Over the summer I wrote about how David McCandless of Information is Beautiful had catalogued “every single journey through time made by the Doctor, featuring start year, end year, and location.” At the Guardian, a spreadsheet with the beautiful information was made publicly available, for anyone to do whatever they wanted with it.

Now, graphic designer Wayne Dorrington has created a gorgeous infographic based on that beautiful information, Doctor Who: Journeys Through Time 1963-2010. It’s tough to excerpt, but here one snippet of info, which gives you an idea of Dorrington’s style:
