‘Doctor Who’ thing of the day: balloon TARDIS

Lanna is a reader of this site, and she also happens to be a person who twists balloons into funny and/or interesting and/or weird shapes. You know, for fun. (She appears in the documentary Twisted: A Balloonamentary.) Her friend and fellow balloon twister Flip Florey made a TARDIS pretty near life-size (on the outside, anyway) out of balloons:

His TARDIS is aka the “Twisted And Radically Designed Inflated Structure,” and you can see more pix at WherestheTARDIS.com, a contest sponsored by BBC America. Lanna says of Flip:

He is looking for votes so he can have a screening of Doctor Who in Bangor Maine – which would be so fantastic!
