This looks really cool, and it sounds even better when you know that writer-director Gareth Edwards made this on a small budget, with a cast of two and a crew of five on the road in Central America.
So, Joaquin Phoenix chucks his acting career in favor of one as a rapper. And Casey Affleck is there to document it. Or is it all a fake?
