You’ve seen this all before — it’s Toy Story meets The Matrix — just not done in Legos.

He’s Batman: fan shock as handsome square-jawed actor cast as iconic superhero. Also: Ben Affleck could not possibly care less what you think of him.

Maybe the rebooted Dark Knight will have a pool of crocodiles at stately Wayne manor.

Woke to the news of the overnight craziness in Boston, was glued to Twitter and the Web and BBC News all day. Because I couldn’t not.
Pop culture is full of villains bursting with personality and charisma or merely so terrifyingly capable of evoking horror that we cannot look away from them. Yet these awesome bad guys inevitably take a backseat to the square-jawed white-bread hero. Time to rectify that.
