We’re months and months from the release of Star Trek Into Darkness and we don’t even know what character he’s playing, but general Internet consensus seems to be that Benedict Cumberbatch will be pretty much the sexiest villain ever. But whom will he knock off the sexy-villain throne?
I’m gonna go with Elijah Wood as Frodo Baggins in The Lord of the Rings. Wood doesn’t spring to mind when thinking about action heroes, and even within the context of the story, a homebody hobbit is the last person anyone expects to be an action hero.
This depends on two factors: how you define action movie, and how you define modern.
