I love mashups. This is the first one I’ve seen mashing up Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog with Doctor Who…

‘Doctor Who’ thing of the day: hug a Dalek, squeeze the TARDIS

I don’t know what this soft squeezable talking TARDIS says — “Do fish have fingers?” perhaps, or maybe, “My thief!” — but I like it. Forbidden Planet says it’ll be available in August. Just the idea of hugging the TARDIS seems wonderful to me.

‘Doctor Who’ thing of the day: wait, so maybe we are getting lots of episodes in 2012?

You know, I’m getting a bit sick of all this to-ing and fro-ing. It’s more fun just posting pictures of knitted Daleks and shit. I love Doctor Who, but I don’t love the inside-baseball nonsense about when or whether the show is returning. Just make us some damn episodes, or don’t.

Tardis Hire is indeed exactly what it says: They will rent you a life-size replica TARDIS… exterior only, of course…

‘Doctor Who’ thing of the day: dating site wants you to check out all the Doctor’s companions… and maybe get a date, I guess?

Click on the infographic to embiggen it… which will take you to the Online Dating University, where it’s hosted. Maybe you’ll get a date for tonight. It is Friday, after all — wouldn’t you like a date for tonight? (It probably won’t be Leela or Tegan, though. Sorry.)
