Color Out of Space movie review: pink elephant
Body-horror SF via Lovecraftian grotesquerie, with a now tedious rampage from Nic Cage. As if a man needs to be influenced by unfathomable aliens to turn to violence. I need more from my pulp fiction.

It’s Lovecraft by way of The Thing and Alien in this satisfyingly schlocky 80s throwback, complete with practical FX. A genuinely eerie experience.
An appearance by the Elder Gods certainly would have made that Tintin movie a helluva lot more interesting…
Here’s a great stocking stuffer for the worshippers of the Great Old Ones on your holiday list: a traditional deck of playing cards that will eat away at your sanity. Try it — it’s fun!
