Today the NFL shut down London’s famous Regent Street for an event to promote its upcoming International Series.
Perhaps this gets close to home for me because I am sometimes accused of inappropriately bringing politics or feminism or other topics that don’t “belong” in film criticism into my reviews…

You will be able to watch next year’s Super Bowl live streaming online. Cool. Not that I care in the least about football, but this is huge news for new media.
I don’t get football. I have no desire to get it, and feel no great loss in my life because of this. But there are a few great football movies aren’t really about football, far less so than the many great baseball movies are actually about baseball. And so these are movies I can love.
The name is a little misleading. These 10 45-minute episodes aren’t just in HD: they’re in color. Hardly anyone even knew most of this footage existed, and it is amazing to see.
