Genuinely heartwarming, totally cheerworthy, bursting with warm and generous performances, and just a whole damn lotta fun. (And I hate professional wrestling.) Florence Pugh absolutely rocks it.

Apparently made by snickering 12-year-olds who like naked boobies and have heard rumors about the phenomenon known as “the business trip.”

What is supposed to be funny and heartwarming is instead creepy and stalkerish. There’s no charm or emotional plausibility in a tale that cannot work without it.

Is it supposed to be flattering to Google that two idiots bullshit their way into a highly competitive internship, even though they know nothing about computers, or the Internet, or programming?
When are “lovable” movie losers even more (allegedly) lovable? When they’re all foreign and arthousey, of course!
You will be unsurprised to discover that this French-Canadian comedy is slated for a Hollywood remake starring Vince Vaughn…

I don’t want comedians not to be offensive: I want them not to be stupid when they give offense. I want them to give offense, if that’s what they’re going to do, for a reason. Universal wouldn’t have had to cut the joke if it were defensible in any way. But it isn’t.
