trailer break: ‘Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs’

Take a break from work: watch a trailer…

Mmmm, meatballs.

I’ve seen the film, and it is even more delightful than the trailer makes it out to be. And the trailer isn’t one of those that spoils everything, either.

Heh heh: spoilers. Maybe they put this trailer in the fridge so nothing would get spoiled.

Okay, that was bad. Sorry. It’s impossible to resist making food puns when it comes to this movie, which is scrumptious and delicious and mouthwatering and–

I’ll stop now.

Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs opens in the U.S. and the U.K. on September 18.

Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs was one of my favorite picture books when I was younger. I was frankly expecting more of a kid-friendly parody of the disaster film genre, so turning this into misunderstood genius film like “A Bug’s Life” concerned me. Glad to hear they didn’t mess it up in the transition.
