WGA East rally in Washington Square Park tomorrow

The East Coast arm of the Writers Guide of America is hosting a rally in Washington Square Park in NYC’s Greenwich Village tomorrow, Tuesday, November 27, from noon to 1:30pm. On hand will be such personages as Senator John Edwards, Congressman Jerry Nadler, Tim Robbins, Michael Emerson, Joe Pantoliano, Colin Quinn, Aasif Mandvi, Tony Goldwyn, Evan Handler, Gilbert Gottfried, Randi Weingarten (UFT), Ed Ott (Central Labor Council), Gary Lebarbera and Denis M. Hughes (NYS AFL-CIO), Sam Freed (SAG NY President), Richard Masur (former national president of SAG), WGAE leaders, and others.

Turn out to support the writers, if you can. You see how awful most TV shows and most movies are now, even with writers working on them? Imagine how much worse everything would be if the producers wrote everything.
