no ‘Doctor Who’ or ‘Torchwood’ blogging this weekend

Sorry. I’m at the science fiction convention Arisia all weekend, talking about movies and TV, and now I’m getting ready to throw a room party tonight. I’d hoped to have time during last week to prepare my Doctor Who and Torchwood blogs and schedule them for posting, but that didn’t happen. If I can get to them before next weekend, I will.

Only loosely related to Doctor Who, but I know you enjoyed Life on Mars. Here’s 2 of the trailers to the sequel series “Ashes to Ashes” (sadly without John Simm). It starts in the UK beginning of February, and the press reviews have been excellent (some even saying that it’s better than LoM)

Here’s the first teaser (which is a short scene of Alex (who is the Sam Tyler of this series) meeting the gang)

Well, the new Torchwood is but a week away. looks like you are not quite going to be caught up :(
Isn’t it nice when good TV comes out faster than you can write about it?

At least there will be something to watch while the US writers continue their strike. Suits me fine. UK tv is better than the US stuff anyway.

Ashes to Ashes looks good but has a lot to live up to.
