He wasn’t trying to impersonate Don Cherry, was he? I mean, it was bad enough to see Rick Mercer do that in Bon Cop/Bad Cop, I don’t want to see Colbert doing it too.

MaryAnn, Don Cherry is a very famous Canadian hockey broadcaster, whom most of us Yanks — even a casual hockey fan such as myself — wouldn’t have knowledge of.

Well, I figured he was probably some famous sportscaster, but I have no basis for judging whether Colbert was attempting to imitate him.
