dream cast: hypothetical ‘MacGyver’ movie

It’s Thursday, so it’s time to remake an 80s classic TV show or movie with an all-new cast. This week: MacGyver, the 1985-1992 ABC adventure series that made a virtue out of nonviolence and the hero’s intelligence and scientific bent. Plus, Richard Dean Anderson was cute as hell.

My dream cast for a modern update:

Angus MacGyver: Nathan Fillion
Peter Thornton: Richard Dean Anderson
Jack Dalton: Lee Pace
Murdoc: Ewan McGregor
Penny Parker: Blake Lively
Harry Jackson: ???

Ohhh damn, I had Fillion as MacGyver too but I was stuck on Thornton (Loving your Anderson casting though). After going back to the drawing board im happy with:

MacGyver: Nick Stahl
Thornton: Aaron Eckhart
Murdoc: Billy Boyd
Penny: Franka Potente

Such a great show.
