Friday fun! Here’s a screen capture from a DVD… and just to make things harder for 2010, this one is from a TV show which may or may not be in my collection (it’s sooo much easier to do screengrabs now that Netflix is streaming to my computer). Guess the TV show — you don’t need to guess the episode, just the show — and earn the respect of me and your fellow FlickFilosopher.com readers. One guess per comment — no fair hogging all the guesses.

Lessee, green rat shoulder strap… that’s a neck with a tattoo on it… dark hair…
Abby?! Is that NCIS?
I’m gonna go with Watership Down. It’s my best guess for animated, psychedelic badgers.
Not even close.
It’s somebody wearing makeup/face paint and a motorcycle helmet, but I can’t figure out what it’s from.
to clarify, this IS from a t.v. show?
I’m guessing Bonekickers but I’m probably wrong.
Primeval?
Oh, goodie, I found a tough one. :->
Yes, it is definitely from a TV show, and I will give you another hint: It’s a British TV show.
Fawlty Towers?
Hex?
* Cue “Number 1 Crush” *
Golly, I’ll go for an obvious MAJ favorite: Doctor Who?
Was Farscape a British show, at least in some technical sense, perhaps? Either way, I might as well use up my guess on that, because I’ve had far too few opportunities to watch British television, so if it wasn’t that or Doctor Who there’s little chance of my guessing it. Anyway, the makeup in the screenshot reminds me of some styles seen in Farscape.
No, *Farscape* was not British. And it ain’t *Doctor Who,* either.
Spaced?
The more I look at that rat, the more familiar it seems. But I’m starting to think it’s because I keep looking at it.
I’ve already guessed once, but (since nobody’s guessed for a while) I’m going to guess The Box of Delights, which I don’t think is correct but I need to get out of my head.
I just tracked it down on YouTube (it’s well worth a watch for anyone who hasn’t seen it, especially if you like Patrick Troughton) so I’m making this guess before checking there.
Nope.
Another clue: It dates from the 1970s.
Blake’s Seven?
The Tomorrow Children?
bronxbee got it: it’s *Blake’s Seven.* But she knows what’s in my DVD collection, so that’s a little bit of a cheat. :-> Ah, I was gonna have to reveal it anyway, with this week’s screengrab quiz now posted.
What episode is it from, though? I’m curious.
