poster convergence: ‘Twilight: Eclipse’ and ‘Prince of Persia’

Can you believe they’re making me share the spotlight with other people in my movie?
Look, I’m totally teh hero, okay? Serissly. I am. But they tells me that some of you prefer to check out the hot bland boys I’m supposed to be picking from, or, like, Ming the Merciless and the Xena sidekick. So not fair! It’s my movie!

Aheh. Is it my imagination, or is the human’s skin lighter than the vampire’s? I don’t recall this being a problem with the previous two posters.

And the cast of Prince of Persia are only slightly darker than Eclipse. Nice job, Disney!

I just can’t get over the news that they’re making a movie based on that game. Not just Prince of Persia, but The Sands of Time. I’m not sure if it helps or hurts that these are the people who turned a Disneyworld ride into a franchise. After all the game has significantly more (but not much) of a story framework to build on.

All I know is that I’m picturing the inevitable bullet-time-rewind shots (see his glowing dagger lets him reverse time a little ways for when he accidentally jumps off a cliff) and cringing. I just really hope they keep the downer ending where the hero gets the girl and saves the day, but saving the day means rewinding time to before he got the girl and she wouldn’t give him the time of day. Ha ha, what am I talking about, this is a Disney movie.
