I think she crossed into that category when the literal video of Total Eclipse of the Heart was made.
Because, of course, no one ever made fun of that “Total Eclipse of the Heart” video before that literal video came out. Just like no intelligent person ever made fun of slasher films before Scream came out and no movie-goer in general made fun of bad sci-fi movies prior to the first show of Mystery Science Theatre 3000…

I didn’t say no one ever made fun of it. I said she crossed the line into kitsch when it was made.
I think she crossed into that category when the literal video of Total Eclipse of the Heart was made.
Because, of course, no one ever made fun of that “Total Eclipse of the Heart” video before that literal video came out.
