‘Doctor Who’ thing of the day: the source of all geekitude

I’m surprised it took the universe this long to realize that Doctor Who is the center of the universe. Though it really should be obvious after the events of “The Big Bang.”

Don’t cyborgs count as killer robots? Then Trek with Borg evilness should count for Center of the circles as well…

I don’t think Doctor Who is the source of all geekiness, but rather a strange attractor of SF themes.

This doesn’t make it the source of all geekitude it just means that it is the geakiest thing possible. I’d add a few more categories including Aliens, Clones and a few others which are staples of SciFi. And where is Star Wars on this diagram? I would say that it has Spaceships and Killer Robots (IG-88 at least) and I’d put it ahead of Battlestar but that’s just me.

Yeah, if Doctor Who gets to count spaceships, then Trek gets to count Killer Robots.

Am I the only one who thinks that this sort of chart really should be done in 3D? Or am I having too much fun imagining a big beautiful hologram with a visual complexity akin to the Rose Window, with the TARDIS at its heart?
