‘Doctor Who’ thing of the day: TARDIS prank at MIT

The school bell has rung for students at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, which means it’s time for pranks. Like this one, in which MIT students erected a mock TARDIS on the roof of one of the school’s buildings. From bbcamericangirl’s Flickr page:

Key detail: the banner reading, “Welcome Students” is evidently stolen from Harvard. Who knew the Doc was an MIT Hacker?

I love these guys. This is even funnier than the John Harvard statue clad in Halo warrior gear and cuter than the huge Harry Potter forehead scar on the MIT dome…
